In this decade, Spain becomes a vast set form foreign producers. Already it is the relocation  of the cinema industry wiht extras, technicians and even very less important than in Hollywood or even Cinecittà. Spain also  supplies wonderfullocation , in particular near Almeria, in Andalusia, and has a lot of horses often used in many pictures. Indubitably the Spanish production looses its distinctive cultural identity, excellent Spanish actors only have supporting roles or only appears some minutes in international productions, but the Spanish picture industry survies the terrible television competition.

During this period, Alfredo Mayo is in about fifty pictures in which he has generally supporting roles. Even in the film "Madigan’s millions" (1968) made in Roma by Stanley Prager, with Dustin Hoffman he has been cretided by some documents (Maybe his sequences have been cut, or we didn'y see him!)

Fortunately international film critics have discover him again in Carlos Saura 's pictures: "The Hunt" and "Peppermint frappé".
